HISTORY

The Association of Bulgarian Leaders and Entrepreneurs (ABLE) is an active community of enterprising young people who contribute to developing the environment around them, regardless of where they are. We met during participation in the „Young Leaders of Bulgaria“ (BYLP) program in 2011.

Решихме да основем неправителствена организация, която да послужи като платформа за нашите идеи и осъществяването на положителна промяна в България. От тогава с пропорционалното нарастване на членовете на организацията се увеличават и проектите ни, влиянието ни върху българското общество и успехите ни.

ABOUT BYLP

The Bulgarian Young Leaders Program (BYLP), sponsored by the America for Bulgaria Foundation and managed by the Institute for International Education (IIE), aims to identify Bulgarian students and young professionals with great potential and provide them with leadership and pre-leadership training opportunities in the US. The America for Bulgaria Foundation believes that the „Young Leaders of Bulgaria“ program not only trains individuals who become catalysts of change in Bulgarian civil society and engines of economic growth but also contributes to increasing mutual understanding and cooperation between promising young leaders in the USA and Bulgaria.

The „Young Leaders of Bulgaria“ program includes several components:

1. Summer Entrepreneurship Program (SEP)
2. Training for young professionals in the field of justice (JJPTP)
3. Educational Leadership Training (ELTP)

4. Академия за училищни лидери (PTP)
5. Едногодишна академична програма в САЩ (USAIP) – приключила програма
6. Програма за професионалисти в сферата на околната среда (JEPTP) – приключила програма

4. Academy for School Leaders (PTP)
5. USA One Year Academic Program (USAIP) – completed program
6. Environmental Professionals Program (JEPTP) – terminated program
