- Gergana Nevyanova Project Leader ABLE Activator
After several years in various positions in the corporate sphere, Geri realizes that it is time to return to something that has always brought her the greatest joy and inexhaustible satisfaction – working for a cause – а cause that she truly believes in. Shortly after her return to Bulgaria in 2021, Geri took part in the 2-weekend entrepreneurship challenge – ABLE Weekend Activator, and soon after, she took on the role of a project leader of the ABLE Activator.
Geri has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Master’s degree in Corporate Governance at the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria, with a 1-year Erasmus program at the University of Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany.
During her studies, she kept exploring her limits and challenging herself by taking part in numerous international projects, conferences, and youth exchanges in a wide range of fields, from humanitarian aid to business and entrepreneurship, while exploring the world.
After graduating, she decided to move to Prague where she lived for almost 4 years and gained experience in coordinating projects in leading multinational companies.
In 2019 she embarked on a 9-month journey around the world and learned many invaluable life-long lessons from first-hand experiences. Today she feels comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life.
Over the course of the past 10 years, she participated in a number of wide-ranging voluntary activities while being a president of a proactive student organization in the field of Finance at UE-Varna, and head of a youth emergency team at the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross. She led a host of teams to first places in national and international contests.
In her spare time, and apart from traveling the world, she enjoys reading memoirs, capturing precious memories, being in nature, and supporting various causes as a volunteer.
- Mila Atanassova Project Leader ABLE Mentor
Mila is one the first mentors, who participated in ABLE Mentor when the program started in 2014. After the end of Season 1, she gladly accepted the invitation to join the organizational team, because she shares the values the project is based on.

Along with the studio she worked at, she has got awards and nominations from prestigious institutions as Building of the Year (Bulgaria), BIG SEE (Slovenia), Architizer (USA) and Mies van der Rohe (EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture).
For many years, Mila would share her time between her job as an Architect and volunteering for ABLE Mentor, before deciding to fully dive into the world of informal education and mentorship. She took the Project Lead role in the beginning of 2022, bringing her project management and leadership skills to her new position.
Mila believes that paying it forward to the next generation by sharing your knowledge, experience or simply being there for them, gives ABLE Mentor’s students a solid ground to step on, grow and reach new heights. The skillset young people develop by participating in the program is critical for their future goals and Mila is proud to be a part of their journey.
